Two lines a₁x + b₁y = c₁ and a₂x + b₂y = c₂ are drawn on the coordinate plane; their intersection is the solution of the system. Students drag the points on each line to change the coefficients and instantly see three cases: intersecting (unique solution), parallel (no solution), and coincident (infinite solutions), along with the solution worked out by the elimination method.
